An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Advisor Health and Wellbeing to join our Safety & Wellbeing, Workforce Division team. The role is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Occupational Violence Prevention Program and the Wellbeing services across all Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service locations. With a primary focus on the wellbeing of our employees, the Principal Advisor Health and Wellbeing will plan, develop, initiate, deliver and evaluate a range of occupational violence prevention programs and wellbeing programs and activities across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. An integral function of this role will be to act as a resource for managers and leaders, assisting in understanding the wellbeing needs of their team and building capacity for team wellbeing leadership.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Advisor Health and Wellbeing to join our Safety & Wellbeing, Workforce Division team. The role is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Occupational Violence Prevention Program and the Wellbeing services across all Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service locations. With a primary focus on the wellbeing of our employees, the Principal Advisor Health and Wellbeing will plan, develop, initiate, deliver and evaluate a range of occupational violence prevention programs and wellbeing programs and activities across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. An integral function of this role will be to act as a resource for managers and leaders, assisting in understanding the wellbeing needs of their team and building capacity for team wellbeing leadership.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide expert knowledge, strategic advice and guidance for occupational violence prevention and wellbeing matters to inform relevant stakeholders and support policy directions and occupational violence prevention strategies, including high-risk controls and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Develop positive business leader relationships and provide strategic and technical high-level advice to the Director Safety & Wellbeing, senior leaders and broader management teams on occupational prevention and wellbeing matters.
- Embed occupational violence prevention programs into the SCHHS ‘Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System' through the development and implementation of frameworks, procedures, processes, and guidance to effectively risk manage occupational safety and violence risk, psychosocial risk, including sexual harassment, bullying, stress.
- Promote understanding of the importance of occupational violence prevention management and wellbeing in the workplace with a particular emphasis on building the capability of leaders to take a proactive role in supporting the wellbeing of their staff.
Remuneration value up to $166,569 p.a, comprising salary between $5214.20 - $5595.80 p.f, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for 3 months with possibility of extension).
