We're excited to welcome a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member to deliver high level Psychology or Occupational Therapy or Social Work clinical services and leadership across one or more specific work units, to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital Health and Queensland Health (SCH).
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

The headspace in-reach program supports young people aged 12-25 in an integrated service system (local headspace centres and Sunshine Coast Health) it aims to bridge gaps in care, reduce the number of young people in the missing middle, provide more timely access to specialist mental health treatment and care and strengthen clinical pathways, referrals and transitions. The clinician is a Queensland Health employee that offers in-reach and consultation liaison into local headspace centres. Headspace is the Australian National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention and support services to young people aged 12-25. headspace can help young people with mental health, physical health (including sexual health) alcohol and other drug services, and work and study support.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver independent high level Psychology / Occupational Therapy / Social Work clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
- Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
- Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced Psychology / Occupational Therapy / Social Work practitioners and students as delegated.
Remuneration value up to $125,887 p.a., comprising salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Part-time position, 60.8 hrs p.f.).
