Ready for Surgery Team (RfST) is a multidisciplinary healthcare unit within the SCHHS providing pre- anaesthetic health evaluation and patient optimisation, education, and information in preparation of the patient’s elective surgery/procedure, at SCUH, NGH, and CHS. The RfST plays a pivotal role within SCH in meeting the KPI's set out in ESIS, namely, Wait List Registration, Urgency Category Assignment, Ready for Surgery, Not Ready for Surgery, Wait List Management, Treat-in turn, Treat-in time and Pre-admission assessment. Identifying capacity and demand issues with the associated outsourcing of patients to private providers is also a function that the RfST team undertakes.ﾠ

Key Responsibilities include:

Remuneration value up to $131 900 p.a., comprising salary between $107 960 - $115 604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Garde 6 (1).
