An exciting opportunity exists for an Improvement and Implementation Lead. The Improvement and Implementation Lead is responsible for driving strategic improvements within Mental Health and Specialised Services at Sunshine Coast Health Service. This role partners with consumers, teams, managers, and executives to lead initiatives that enhance services and patient outcomes. By using contemporary improvement methodologies, the Lead will evaluate services and implement systems to ensure solutions are equitable, responsive, and tailored to the needs of different clinical specialties.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead and coordinate strategic service developments within Mental Health and Specialised Services, incorporating innovative and evidence-based models of service delivery.
- Identifies, implements, and evaluates improvement initiatives, such as models of care, service provision, workflows, and processes.
- Integrate the concept of co-design into practice by encouraging co-design of practices, programs and their implementation. Work directly with clinicians and consumers to implementation improved practices, tools, resources and models through consumers and others who have lived healthcare experience.
- Work with clinicians to develop tools, resources, and models of care informed by consumers and those with lived healthcare experience.
Remuneration value up to $172 615 p.a., comprising salary rates: $73.12 - $76.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) or Remuneration value up to $164 212 p.a., comprising salary rates: $66.85 - $72.58 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) or Remuneration value up to $166 569 p.a., comprising salary rates: $68.60 - $73.62 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO7) (part time position available, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
