Our goal is to improve timely and culturally appropriate access to footcare services in the community, supporting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients, as well as the broader community to achieve their health and wellbeing goals.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Provides comprehensive foot assessments as well as basic foot care, including toenail cutting, for low-risk patients in accordance with the Footprints Walking on Country RN/HCW Footcare Procedure and the Clinical Services Capability Framework.
- Delivers culturally appropriate education sessions, including "Yarning About Diabetes" and structured Type 2 diabetes education.
- Applies advanced clinical expertise in diabetes care to improve health outcomes and promote effective self-management strategies.
- Prepares monthly performance reports, GP referral letters, and contributes to outcome reporting as required.
Remuneration value up to $111 073 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (part time position, 64 hrs p.f.).
