The Registered Nurse (RN) leads and delivers person centred nursing care within a dynamic health environment based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards of Practice.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver Health Wellness and Clozapine Service within Community Mental Health Services. The Community MH services provide case management services to adolescents and adults who are experiencing moderate to severe mental issues and have difficulty accessing and maintaining social supports. The service is recovery oriented, person centred, family inclusive, collaborative, and empowering; and operates on the premise that consumers can and do recover from mental illness and drug related disorders.
• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.
• Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
• Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces and manage all information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.

Salary between $82 753 - $106 144 p.a. (f/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (Nurse Grade 5) (permanent, full time position available, 76 hrs p.f.).
