We're excited to welcome a Registered Nurse to our Outpatient team.
The Registered Nurse (RN) leads and delivers person centred nursing care within a dynamic health environment based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Registered Nurse Standards of Practice.
The Outpatient Services at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), Nambour General Hospital (NGH) and the Caloundra Health Services (CHS) aims to provide governance, accountability and management of outpatient services to ensure consistency across the patient care continuum. The Outpatient Services team provides governance and management of the functional space and provides nursing and administrative support to the specialties that provide outpatient care in this area. Speciality clinical services will access the Unit to provide outpatient services for their patients. These services work closely together with the Outpatient team to ensure the provision of collaborative integrated outpatient care.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.
- Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety and ethical behaviour.
Remuneration value up to $81 946 p.a., comprising salary rates $35.92 - $38.12 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 5) (Part-Time, 72 hrs p.f.).
