As a Radiographer within the Medical Imaging Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, base-level imaging services as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. In alignment with the goals and standards of Sunshine Coast Health (SCH) and Queensland Health, you will contribute to effective healthcare delivery and support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of Radiography services commensurate with a level which meets the Professional Capabilities as set out by the Medical Radiation Practitioner Board of Australia (MRPBA).  For complex or novel cases, you will seek direction from clinical seniors as appropriate.  
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems (statistics collection, quality data). Ensure that time spent across clinical and non-clinical work is in keeping with assigned requirements. 
  • Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures, and protocols within the work environment.

Remuneration value up to $8234 p.m., comprising salary between $3319.70 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $43.68 p.h. (p/t),  employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) and Salary rates: $54.60 p.h. (casual)(HP3.1) (Fixed term temporary full time and part time and casual positions). Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy.
