An exciting opportunity exists for an Undergraduate Student in Nursing (USIN) to join the Gympie Nursing Casual Pool at Sunshine Coast Health. In this role, you will assist in delivering person-centred nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and midwives within a supportive and dynamic health environment. This position offers the opportunity to develop clinical skills, gain valuable experience in a regional hospital setting, and contribute to quality care for the Gympie community. Work flexibly across varied shifts while building your confidence and knowledge as you progress through your nursing studies.

Key Responsibilities include:

Assist in the delivery of person-centred nursing care under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife, ensuring safe and effective clinical support.

Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive healthcare environment in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health policies and procedures.

Practice in line with professional, ethical, and legislative requirements while developing clinical competence within your scope of study.

Participate in quality and safety improvement activities, demonstrating accountability and commitment to Sunshine Coast Health's values and care standards.
Salary rates: $39.05 - $41.66 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (OO2) (casual positions available) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
