An exciting opportunity exists for an Undergraduate Student in Nursing (USIN) to join the Gympie Nursing Casual Pool at Sunshine Coast Health. In this role, you will assist in delivering person-centred nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and midwives within a supportive and dynamic health environment. This position offers the opportunity to develop clinical skills, gain valuable experience in a regional hospital setting, and contribute to quality care for the Gympie community. Key Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the delivery of person-centred nursing care under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife, ensuring safe and effective clinical support.

• Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive healthcare environment in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health policies and procedures.

• Practice in line with professional, ethical, and legislative requirements while developing clinical competence within your scope of study.

• Participate in quality and safety improvement activities, demonstrating accountability and commitment to Sunshine Coast Health's values and care standards.

Salary rates: $39.05 - $41.66 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (OO2) (casual positions available) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
