Flagstone State Community College seeks an experienced, innovative teacher to lead its Flexi School program. This program focuses on practical, scaffolded learning aligned with the Australian Curriculum, fostering students' foundational skills, confidence, and social development before transitioning them back to mainstream education. The ideal candidate is passionate about student-centered, project-based learning and has experience in curriculum design, teaching materials development, and practical learning delivery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young persons to reach their potential through the adoption of student-centred project-based learning approach to curriculum design and delivery. Experience in designing curriculum, teaching and learning materials and the delivery of practical learning experiences is desirable. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and to support our school's journey to embed inclusive teaching practice.

Our FlexiSpace Lead/Teacher will ideally be: 

•    an experienced teacher with expertise in, or knowledge of inclusive practice; or a teacher who is committed to rapidly developing their skills and knowledge of inclusive practice;
•    committed to ensuring students achieve quality educational outcomes by providing uninterrupted access to the curriculum; and high-impact teaching
•    committed to differentiating teaching practice and educational program delivery to meet student needs;
•    committed to using and sharing inclusive teaching sharing practice with all staff;
•    committed to working with parents/carers, internal support staff and external agencies to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing.
