The Manager, HR Business Partnering leads a team of HR Business Partners and Organisational Health practitioners in providing contemporary people solutions to 150 state schools. You will work closely with the Director to lead the South East Region Human Resources team through an ongoing transformation to a true business partnering approach. The team, providing business partnering, org health, complex matters and recruitment functions, is made up of approximately 32 practitioners at various levels of transition. To be successful in this role you will bring a collaborative leadership style with the ability to build proactive partnerships with educational leaders across the Region.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Applying significant levels of independent judgement in keeping with the complex nature of work undertaken and the allocation of resources within the constraints or guidelines laid down by senior executives. This will include approving the expenditure of funds, undertaking specific action in line with the policy of the office, or reviewing any previous action or decisions in the work area.
- Instigating the development of guidelines, rules, regulations, procedures or instructions for staff or other interested parties.
- Analysing organisational design and the formulating strategic plans for staff and organisational development as required.
