About the Role
The Head of Department - Physical Education plays a key leadership role at Beaudesert State High School, guiding a vibrant PE faculty and driving excellence in health, fitness, and sport across the school. Based in the stunning Scenic Rim, this role focuses on mentoring teachers, strengthening student and family connections, and leading high-impact PE and sports programs. It's a dynamic position for a strategic leader committed to whole-school improvement and student success.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department - Physical Education, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to build strong relationships with parents, students and our PE faculty
- Mentor and support our PE Teachers
- Be the driving force behind students high achievement in PE and our tailored sports programs
- A strategic thinker with a commitment to whole of school improvement
- Ability to promote our health and fitness programs to students
