Youth Support Coordinator - Windaroo Valley State High School

Windaroo Valley State High School is seeking a passionate and proactive Youth Support Coordinator to join our dedicated wellbeing team. In this vital role, you'll work closely with students in Years 10-12 to support their engagement, wellbeing, and successful transition into further education, training, or employment. This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.6FTE), 43.5 hours per fortnight.

Who We Are:

Windaroo Valley State High School is a dynamic co-educational school on the northern Gold Coast. We offer a supportive and inclusive learning environment with strong academic and vocational pathways. Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Identify barriers to young people achieving outcomes and referral to appropriate support services.
  • Maintain records of student contact on a daily basis.
  • Support students to achieve satisfactory learning outcomes.
  • Develop and monitor post program support as required to meet program performance criteria.
  • Develop and foster relationships between the school and families of students to assist at risk students to remain engaged with education or training.
