About the Role
As the Head of Department, you will provide strong leadership in curriculum development aligned with school and departmental priorities, driving the vision of Early Childhood and the State Schools Division. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, while fostering positive relationships among students, staff, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead the HPE faculty and AFL Program effectively, alongside advancing the IT capabilities of staff across the school and overseeing the growth of IT resources and infrastructure to support educational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department - Health and Physical Education, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
