Your opportunity

This position requires a specialisation within the role description of Head of Department (Curriculum) in the area of developing high-quality teaching and learning across Prep to Year 6, while performing all core responsibilities of the HOD-C.

This position spans all learning areas and supports a systematic, school-wide approach to effective teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong credibility through demonstrated teaching excellence, deep curriculum knowledge, and pedagogical expertise.
  • Facilitate and coordinate professional learning across Prep-Year 6, equipping staff with the skills for low-variance, high-impact approaches.
  • Apply sophisticated interpersonal, analytical, and strategic skills to lead change, inspire and engage stakeholders.
  • Work as part of the school leadership team to support a systematic, school-wide curriculum delivery.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff throughout all stages of the teaching cycle.
