Applications are invited for two temporary Administration Officer positions at Upper Coomera State College.
One role is a temporary full-time position supporting the Primary Front Office four days per week and the Finance team one day per week.
The second role is a temporary part-time position, offered at 0.20FTE for 14.5 hours per fortnight, supporting the Primary Front Office.

The Opportunity
As an Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of the school. You will undertake a variety of corporate service activities and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of the College. About the Role
As the Administration Officer, responsibilities include:
- Performing a variety of administrative and support services, including reception duties, managing correspondence, and maintaining school records.
- Undertaking routine activities such as processing mail, arranging appointments, and general administration tasks.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, providing information and advice in line with school policies, and demonstrating empathy and support.
- Providing first aid and medication to students, with relevant training provided as required.
- Supporting financial administrative activities, including data entry, maintaining financial registers, and assisting with budget management.
This role is ideal for a proactive and organised individual who is passionate about contributing to a positive and supportive school environment.
About You
The following traits would be beneficial:
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in financial administration or general office management.
- Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, or the ability to quickly learn and apply them.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
