Welcome to Upper Coomera State College (UCSC). As a Prep to Year 12 campus, we cater for all children from ages 5 to 17 and offer every opportunity for each student to experience an individual learning pathway. About the Role:
Working in the Secondary School as the Head of Department - Student Services you will focus on:
- Wellbeing and behaviour management initiatives to support high quality educational outcomes for students in your year level cohort;
- Development of quality teaching and learning; and nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, parents and education stakeholders.
- Applying positive accountability and coaching processes to create positive change in teaching and learning practices of staff.
- Positively impacting student learning outcomes, social emotional development and wellbeing.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be an effective communicator with excellent skills in developing positive relationships and have the ability to function to a high standard in a team environment.
- Possess a sound knowledge of Essential Skills of Classroom Management, Reboot and knowledge of Positive Behaviour for Learning.
- Be highly regarded if you have experience and demonstrated knowledge in classroom profiling, inclusive education and developing student wellbeing.
- Have a fractional teaching load.
