Woodridge State High School (WSHS), is a secondary education provider based in Logan, Queensland.

WSHS celebrates a strong sense of community and is reflective of the multicultural Logan region. About the Role

The Business Manager will play a pivotal role in leading corporate services and administrative support at WSHS. Reporting to the Principal, the role involves managing diverse teams, driving organisational efficiency, and contributing to the school's strategic goals. The role also shares a co-location with Logan City Special School. The Charles Avenue Campus is co-located on the Woodridge State High School site. This unique arrangement introduces additional complexity to the role, requiring effective management of Workplace Health and Safety obligations across a shared campus, coordination of facilities and contractors, and oversight of emergency procedures including evacuations and lockdowns.”

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to financial planning, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.
  • Overseeing facilities management and project planning, including collaboration with external contractors and resource optimisation.
  • Providing leadership and support in delivering executive and administrative services, including process improvement.
  • Building networks and fostering best practices within the school and broader community.

  • Ability to analyse and improve processes for organisational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
