An exciting temporary full-time opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and passionate Head of School within the Primary Campus at Varsity College for period of 6 months, unless otherwise determined. This position will work collaboratively with the Principal - Secondary under the leadership of the Executive Principal. You will be a dynamic leader who can lead and develop a team to provide a learning environment that encourages students to give their best, embrace challenge, and grow to reach their full potential.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Lead the school community to develop and commit to a shared, future-focused vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Uphold the principalship as an ethical, values-based role and embed socially just practices in everyday school life.
  • Set and maintain high standards for student achievement, staff performance, and professional practice.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, community groups, government agencies, industry and business.
  • Manage resources strategically, informed by relevant legislation and policy, while engaging in ongoing professional learning.
