Your opportunity
The Deputy Principal will drive a collaborative culture of learning and supporting middle leaders, teachers, and support staff to best meet the needs of our students, through a culture of collegial engagement and feedback. They will work collaboratively with the Principal in leading staff to develop their knowledge and skills to drive school improvement, focusing on improving student outcomes.
As a lead learner, strong relational capability is required to build positive relationships between students, staff and the wider school community. They will have well developed strategic thinking and analytical skills to contribute to our school improvement agenda with strong organisational skills.
Experience as a Deputy Principal with proven leadership skills is preferred, particularly in managing large, diverse teams. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and implement the pedagogical frameworks of Comprehensive Literacy and Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). Additionally, experience in supporting students with complex communication needs using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is essential, with evidence of impact on improving student outcomes.
