We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Head of Department - Student Services to lead and support student engagement, wellbeing and positive behaviour across Years 4-6.

As a proud Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) school, the successful applicant will champion proactive, evidence-based practices that foster connection, belonging and high expectations for all students.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with staff and families to ensure every student is supported to thrive socially, emotionally and academically.

Your opportunity 

Mabel Park State School is a Prep-Year 6 school delivering inclusive learning and Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) practices that promote engagement, wellbeing and high expectations. The school works collaboratively with families and community partners to support student growth in a safe and supportive environment.

Student Services ensures students are supported and ready to learn.  As the Head of Department - Student Services, you will:

  • Focus on initiatives to support the educational outcomes for students.
  • Incorporate the vision of Early Childhood and State Schools Division into school planning.
  • Develop the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and community.
