We are seeking a motivated and aspiring leader to step into the role of Acting Head of Special Education Services.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a senior leadership position while making a meaningful impact.

In this role, you will promote an inclusive school culture that supports equity and excellence for students with disability.

Working closely with the Principal, you will lead and support high-quality teaching practices and adjustments in line with relevant legislation and policy, while building staff capability in inclusive education.

This position is ideal for an educator ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Supporting and line management of inclusion teachers and teacher aides.
  • Leading a large number of co teaching classes.
  • Provide, support and/or coordinate case management for students who require extensive or substantial adjustments.

The Perfect Fit:

  • Experience as a level 1 or 2 HOSES.
  • Experience leading wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of Inclusive Education, student wellbeing, and behaviour support frameworks
