Deputy Principal - New secondary school in Logan Reserve
South East Region, School and Regional Operations and Performance Division
We are seeking an experienced educator with staff, student, curriculum and pedagogical leadership capability, to undertake this permanent Deputy Principal role.
As the school grows rapidly towards 2440 students by 2030, you will balance strategic planning with the rising operational demands of building and shaping something special from the ground up.
If you are an instructional leader with highly developed interpersonal skills, we are keen to hear from you as the school prepares to open in 2027 with approximately 440-660 Year 7 and 8 students.

Your opportunity
This vacancy is a rare opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic instructional leader who can develop, implement and quality assure a whole school curriculum, effective teaching & learning strategies and student engagement and welfare programs.
You will play a key role in establishing the foundation team, developing staff capability, embedding sustainable practices and building an high-performing teaching culture as the school grows and evolves.
Highly developed technical and interpersonal skills will be essential in building the capacity of Heads of Department and other staff.
You will be required to work collaboratively with leaders of local primary schools. You will be responsible for achieving the Brighter Futures 'On Track for Success' indicators which encompass successful primary to secondary school transition.
As the school grows each year, you will be required to ensure that students are able to transition to senior secondary pathways of choice and be 'Ready for the Future'.
You will be a contributing member of the foundation curriculum, teaching and learning team and add value to the evolution of the school as it develops over time.
