About the Role

Some of the key responsibilites of the role include:

  • Marketing and management of the school's social media
  • Schedule appointments and maintain diaries, receive and assist visitors, identify client needs and redirect telephone calls.
  • Engage with the community and faciliate programs for the benefit of students
  • Undertake work across a broad range of services activities to support the school which may include the administration of ordering and payment procedures.
  • Coordinate and disseminate information to office personnel, and coordinate and manage records management activities.
  • Maintain high level information and communication technology skills, including skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy
  • Liaise with officers at all levels of the department, schools, other government agencies, educational institutions and organisations, the private sector and community representative
  • Undertake a variety of research, project and committee support activities, including coordination and preparation of plans, reports, correspondence and other documentation.
  • Maintain effective time management practices for the Principal including coordinating diary appointments, prioritising correspondence, preventing unnecessary interruptions and screening telephone calls.
  • Monitor progress and report to the Principal on various projects and action items, undertake investigation, research and analysis of sensitive and confidential matters.
