We are seeking an exceptional and passionate Deputy Principal (Special Education) to join our leadership team and lead the delivery of high-quality, inclusive educational programs for students with diverse learning needs. This role requires an experienced leader with a strong understanding of inclusive education, demonstrated expertise in supporting diverse learners, and the ability to build the capability of staff, strengthen partnerships with families and external agencies, and ensure compliance with relevant legislative and departmental policies. This is a temporary full-time position until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Support the Principal to provide strategic leadership for the Special Education Program (SEP) or Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP), including developing and implementing a shared vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students, and deputising when required.
- Lead an inclusive and values-based culture by embedding socially just practices, maintaining high expectations for student achievement and staff performance, and promoting ethical, equitable, and inclusive leadership.
- Manage and develop the program through effective leadership of human, financial, curriculum, and physical resources to ensure high-quality educational programs and successful outcomes for students with disability and diverse learning needs.
- Build collaborative partnerships with families, students, government agencies, community organisations, industry, and external service providers to enhance student learning, wellbeing, and successful transitions.
- Demonstrate professional and strategic leadership by engaging in ongoing professional learning, maintaining a strong understanding of legislation and policies relating to inclusive education and students with disability, and driving continuous improvement through future-focused planning.
