About Helensvale State High School
At Helensvale State High School, you'll join a high-performing Independent Public School on the northern Gold Coast, supporting approximately 2,000 students in a vibrant and well-maintained learning environment. Our expansive 13.62-hectare campus features extensive sporting facilities, landscaped grounds, specialist learning spaces and modern amenities, making the role of Schools Officer, Facilities an integral part of maintaining a safe, welcoming and functional school for our community.
Your Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain school grounds, buildings, furniture and equipment.
- Set up classrooms and facilities for school activities and events.
- Complete general maintenance, cleaning and repair tasks.
- Support school security, including locking and unlocking buildings.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements and maintain tools and equipment.
- Work with staff and contractors to ensure school facilities are safe, functional and well maintained.
