An exciting opportunity to lead the Humanities faculty at Beaudesert State High School for Semester 2, 2026 has become available.

This presents an opportunity to fully immerse yourself in curriculum development along with leading the implementation of our whole school pedagogical approach, based on the science of leaning, and our whole school approach to reading agenda, within the Humanities department.

Application should demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge along with capability of leading teaching and learning including staff development through instructional leadership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
