About the School:
Located at the corner of Goldmine Road and Minka Lane, Ormeau Woods State High School has been part of the community since its opening in 2009. Starting with just 250 students in Years 8 and 9, the school has grown to include students from Years 7 to 12, with most coming from local feeder schools: Norfolk Village State School, Ormeau State School, and Woongoolba State School.

Your Opportunity:
Ormeau Woods State High School is seeking an innovative, collaborative and highly organised Deputy Principal to join our executive leadership team.
This exciting leadership opportunity is suited to an experienced educator with a strong focus on curriculum leadership across Years 7-10 and demonstrated knowledge and experience in whole-school timetabling.
The successful applicant will:
- Lead the strategic planning, implementation and review of curriculum programs across Years 7-10.
- Drive excellence in teaching and learning through curriculum development, data-informed practice and quality assurance.
- Work collaboratively with Heads of Department and the Executive Leadership Team to ensure consistent curriculum delivery and positive student outcomes.
- Lead and manage the school's timetabling processes, ensuring effective and efficient use of staffing and resources.
- Foster a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement and professional growth.
