Your opportunity:

As the Deputy Principal, you will lead 'Student Engagement' and support the principal with leading and monitoring ongoing school improvement initiatives. Deputise for the principal when required; Use data informed decision making to improve the educational outcomes of students; Enhance the quality of teaching and learning; Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders. 

  • Strategic Educational Leadership: Support the Principal and school leadership team to develop and implement a shared educational vision focused on high-quality learning outcomes, continuous improvement and student success.
  • Values-Based Leadership: Demonstrate ethical, moral and socially just leadership that promotes equity, inclusion, wellbeing and high expectations for all students and staff.
  • School Leadership and Performance: Deputise for the Principal when required, provide strong instructional and operational leadership, and foster a culture of high performance, accountability and professional growth.
  • Partnerships and Future-Focused Practice: Build productive partnerships with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry and business, while maintaining a strategic and future-focused approach to education.
  • Governance and Resource Management: Apply relevant legislation and departmental policies, ensure effective governance and decision-making, and manage school resources strategically to achieve organisational priorities and improved outcomes.
