Your opportunity:

This role is responsible for:

  • Leading three levels of planning - supporting teachers to plan at the whole-school, year-level and classroom levels, ensuring curriculum alignment, consistency and appropriate differentiation.
  • Leading the implementation of literacy blocks - supporting teachers to translate the school's agreed literacy approach into consistent, high-impact classroom practice, with a strong focus on explicit instruction, modelling, guided practice and responsive teaching.
  • Leading Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) - facilitating collaborative, purposeful PLTs that use student achievement and progress data to identify needs, plan targeted responses, monitor impact and drive measurable student improvement.
  • Building teacher capability - working alongside teachers to strengthen curriculum knowledge, instructional practice and the effective use of assessment to inform teaching.
  • Monitoring impact - using student and school data to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of teaching practices and ensure improvement strategies result in improved outcomes for students.
