About the role
Provide clinical care to patients of the hospital and acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to develop clinical expertise. This is a non-training position. It is anticipated that candidates applying for this role have an interest in pursuing a career in Orthopaedic Surgery. Be involved in the care of patients under the orthopaedic team, as well as assist in operating theatre and outpatient clinics. Assist other members of the surgical team as needed. Supervise and assist with the training of junior staff and undergraduates. Collect and maintain records for the purposes of morbidity and mortality meetings of patients being treated at STARS. Participate in the on-call roster at STARS.

- Report adverse incidents and near misses and actively participate in Hospital's Integrated Risk Management and Safety system, including participation in Incident Monitoring System and Root Cause Analysis where
- Ensure timely, effective and appropriate clinical handover with other staff and healthcare
