About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide quality financial, business and operational support service to the Business Manager and the STARS facility, including provision of accurate and timely information, the provision of financial reports, investigations of data and maintenance of cost centre structures.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide timely expert resource management advice on activities within STARS.
  • Analyse, report on and present timely staffing, expenditure and activity data, highlighting the current performance of STARS against budgets, targets and strategic goals. This would include preparing monthly comparative reports for cost centre managers and monthly reports
  • Prepare journals for review and approval by the finance leadership team.
  • Provide support and training to STARS cost centre managers in financial management and to use relevant systems such as the Queensland Health Decision Support System or S/4HANA.
