Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse Cancer and Infusion Service, Charleville Western Qld, practices autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team to provide nursing services within a rural / remote health service setting.
- The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for managing the infusion service at the facility. This will include ordering of medication/infusions and ensuring the client is ready for treatment i.e reviewing of pathology etc.
- Coordinating cancer treatment and ongoing care with the metro and regional services and case coordination of relevant patients care across the disease continuum.
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research. The clinical nurse assumes responsibility for professional leadership on the ward, service or unit and applies critical thinking across all the domains.

Charleville is a designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include:
- An annual isolation bonus paid annually!
- Return airfares to the nearest provincial city in conjunction with leave!
- Additional annual leave per annum!
