Tell me more...You will have the opportunity to deliver high level, culturally safe and responsive speech pathology services to improve the speech, language and swallowing skills of patients/clients in the Northern Sector of the Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS), as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Work within a rural generalist speech pathology scope of practice across the continuum of care, to both adult and paediatric inpatients and outpatients including services to registered NDIS and Aged Care clients. Outreach services will also be provided across the Northern Peninsula Area and island communities of the Torres Strait within a framework of comprehensive primary health care and in accordance with the Torres and Cape organisational goals.
