The purpose of this position is to work as a member of the specialist Mental Health & AODS Team at an advanced level to assist in managing resources for the delivery of mental health and alcohol, and other drug services that assist in the prevention, early detection and management of mental health and alcohol and other drug problems.

This role is required to provide culturally appropriate interventions, education and advice on the social and cultural aspects that are relevant for mental health and alcohol and other drug assessment and treatment of indigenous people, and exercise accountability, responsibility and quality health care whilst working within the Health Worker Scope of Practice.

• Base salary comprising between $75,090.00 - $100,227.00 per annum – you may be eligible for additional benefits – refer to Workplace benefits | Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service
