As our highly valued Senior HR Business Partner, you will contribute to ensuring a bright future for Queensland, Australia and our global partners. You will do this with people who want you to grow and progress.
Reporting to the Principal HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for the coordinated, streamlined and integrated delivery of both strategic and operational HR activities across TIQ's domestic workforce. You will be required to proactively partner with defined clients (people leaders) to provide innovative, sustainable and practical solutions to deliver best practice HR/ER services that align, and drive HR initiatives and interventions required to assist the designated client group in achieving business objectives and targets.
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you'll develop innovative plans for interesting projects as you grow your skills every day. And you'll do it with people who you're proud to work with and want you to thrive.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Partner with designated client groups to deliver a diverse range of HR activities, provide expert advice and consultancy services on complex workforce related challenges across the employment cycle, while operating within policy and employment frameworks, including:
- Recruitment and selection (including talent attraction)
- Performance and development (case management)
- Health, Safety and Wellbeing (return to work coordinator)
- Employee relations (complaints management and investigations)
- Industrial relations (aligned to the TIQ employment framework and Queensland labour laws)
- Workforce diversity and planning (vacancy management)
- HR tracking and employee information reporting using Power BI
- Organisational Development and Training initiatives
- Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
- Undertake a key role in developing and implementing a range of HR projects across TIQ, working with both Queensland based and international offices to deliver outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive written and verbal communications to the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Commissioners, Managers, HR and employees on a range of case management, governance, industrial relations, employee relations issues and other matters as they arise.
- Develop, implement and manage HR policies, procedures and processes, and input into their continuous improvement to ensure optimum employee performance and legislative compliance.
- Contribute to the evaluation of HR services and initiatives to ensure these are directed to supporting the designated client group's business outcomes and encourage continuous improvement and best practice processes and procedures.
- Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships effectively to ensure workforce requirements are understood and supported within the workplace and provide regular reporting to the HR Manager.
- Develop and foster effective relationships with key stakeholders in Brisbane, the regions and overseas to continue to build commitment and long-term growth.
