As our highly valued Manager, Finance, you will contribute to ensuring a bright future for Queensland, Australia and our global partners. You will do this with people who want you to grow and progress.
Reporting to the Director, Finance, this Brisbane-based role is responsible for leading a finance team to support TIQ's domestic and international operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing finance operations to support TIQ's strategic objectives.
- Providing expert advice on Queensland Government financial policies and frameworks.
- Ensuring financial systems (TechnologyOne, AAP Converga, ExpenseMe Pro, PowerBI) operate in line with legislation and policies.
- Managing AP, AR, banking, vendor management, corporate cards, and foreign currency transactions.
- Coordinating the annual budget process and quarterly budget reviews.
- Contributing financial information to State Budget papers, Estimates Briefs, and Questions on Notice.
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements and managing the annual audit process with Queensland Audit Office.
- Driving continuous improvement of financial policies, systems, and processes.
- Leading internal financial training to build staff capability and ensure compliance.
