TIQ are looking to fill the important role of Operations Manager - Vietnam (Southeast Asia) based in Ho Chi Minh City office.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who is bilingual English/Vietnamese.

Reporting to the Queensland Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner - Southeast Asia.

To be successful as Operations Manager - Vietnam you will:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Commissioner - Southeast Asia in managing the Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi offices, including oversight of budgets and expenditures.
  • Coordinate resources to support business needs and manage day-to-day administrative operations in Vietnam. Manage relationships with local payroll providers in Vietnam to ensure salary, leave, and entitlements are handled in compliance with local regulations.
  • Under the Commissioner's direction, maintain relationships with key local stakeholders relevant to TIQ operations, working closely with team members.
  • Oversee office assets and inventory, including procurement of supplies and equipment, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring smooth operation of facilities and services.
  • Support logistics for Ministerial and VIP visits, including accommodation, transport, and scheduling. Manage vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring timely invoicing and payments, handling lease matters, and liaising with building management on office-related issues.
  • Provide client service and contribute to team operations by coordinating appointments, seminars, meetings, and travel for staff and visitors.
  • Foster a culture of performance, customer service, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Support office programs, event management, planning, and communications related to trade missions, trade shows, and visiting delegations.
  • The role will also provide oversight of TIQ Singapore office budget management, including contract and expense management from the Ho Chi Minh City office.

Language Skills
High-level written and spoken English is required for all employees of TIQ. Proficiency in business-level Vietnamese language is essential to the success of this role
