Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for future positions. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months.
When a vacancy arises, further participation in other recruitment selection processes (e.g. interview) to assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required.

The Pharmacy Department at the Townsville University Hospital is seeking senior-level Pharmacists with varied experience to fill future vacancies. Roles to be filled through this recruitment process may be up to 12 months in duration and of a full-time or part-time nature. If you have a preference, please indicate this in your application.
Successful candidates may be required to provide pharmacy services across a 7-day roster (Monday to Sunday) to designated work units. As part of your application please include your roster availability (e.g. ability to work weekends etc.).
Requirements:
- Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent).
- Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- A health-related post-graduate qualification and/or enrolment in the SHPA residency program would be highly desirable.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted for the successful applicants.
About the role
Deliver a high level of professional, client-focused pharmacy services and leadership within an evidence-based, quality, and multidisciplinary health care environment during periods of employee leave within the Pharmacy Department teams. This role may include participation in the clinical weekend roster.
