About the opportunity:

Position: Clinical Measurement Scientist – Senior (Cardiac)

Vacancy: Permanent full-time

Location: Cardiac Investigations Unit, Surgical Service Group, Townsville University Hospital.

Delivering high quality evidenced based cardiac clinical measurement clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.

• Salary range: $128,169 to $137,918 p.a. (HP4)
• 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

Requirements:

• Possession of a science based tertiary degree from a recognised tertiary institute with a strong human physiology component and eligibility for membership with a relevant professional association or organisation.
• Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. 5.1.
• The position may be required to work across any of the sites / facilities within the Townsville Hospital & Health service based on current service needs and priorities.
• The position contributes to afterhours emergency clinical on-call services as required.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
