About the opportunity:
Position:
Clinical Nurse Consultant
Vacancy: Permanent Full-time, 76 hours per fortnight
Location: Urology Services, Townsville University Hospital

What's on offer?
Remuneration package of up to $164,696 p.a.

  • Salary range: $132,562 to $143,924 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (Nurse Grade 7).
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading and 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options and flexible working arrangements may be available.

About the role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant for Urology Services demonstrates expert clinical knowledge and advanced clinical problem-solving skills and are accountable for their own clinical practice.  This role provides support and direction to the multidisciplinary team in the management and care of patients within Urology, including complex case management.

Role requirements
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.

Highly desirable
Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field, such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
