About the opportunity:
Position: Clinical Research Coordinator
Vacancy: Fixed term temporary part-time, 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing ASAP for one year, with the possibility of extension, not exceeding 12 months
Location: Townsville University Hospital
About the role:
The key objectives of the Clinical Research Coordinator position are to gather high quality clinical research data and maintain optimum health care to research participants at the standard of practice, in accordance with the National Health Medical and Research Council (NHMRC), Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (GCP) and the International Committee of Harmonisation (ICH). The incumbent will contribute towards the research efforts of a research team lead by a nominated Principal Investigator, and to develop research expertise through the pursuit of defined projects relevant to a specific defined Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) Service Group.

- Salary range: $39.86 to $58.59 p.h. (HP3)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading

Requirements:
- Mandatory qualifications (tertiary degree or equivalent qualification in Allied Health (Health Practitioner) discipline recognised by Queensland Health) and proof of registration (relevant national registration board).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
