About the opportunity
Position: Clinical Nurse
Vacancy: Permanent Part-time, hours negotiable
Location: Surgical Ward 1, Townsville University Hospital
What's on offer?
Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $132,289 p.a.
- Salary range: $54.44 - $58.30 p.h. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1.
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading and 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
- Plus great Salary Sacrificing options and on-call and shift allowances (if applicable).
About the role
In this position you will work as a member of a team on a 30-bed unit specialising in Orthopaedic, Gynaecology and Ophthalmology. The primary speciality in Surgical Ward One is orthopaedic nursing with a broad range of conditions being treated on the unit including trauma and elective surgery.
Role requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
