Townsville Hospital and Health Service are seeking applicants for future Radiographers employment opportunities, for both temporary full-time and part-time vacancies.
If deemed suitable, your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and you may be contacted further by the Medical Imaging Department at the time an opportunity arises.
Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions. Further assessment may be required.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity
Deliver medical imaging clinical service as a member of a multidisciplinary/ modality team to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health.
To work across a range of modality services within Imaging under direction from senior clinical leaders. We are seeking radiographers with known experience in Emergency, General Radiography, and advanced modalities.
Provide education and impart knowledge to staff, patients, and the public regarding the clinical and safety considerations specific to medical imaging and provide a patient focus to the performance of duties.
Requirements:
- Mandatory:
- Hold current registration with MRPBA (AHPRA),
- Hold a tertiary qualification specific to medical imaging,
- Be eligible for Queensland Radiation Use Licence
- Demonstrate evidence of professional development activities.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
