Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $65,828 to $72,079 p.a. (Nurse Grade 1, Band 1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity:
The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) works under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse (RN) who acts in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's decision-making framework. The AIN assists and provides nursing support to the Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (EN) and provides care for patients and families.
The RN delegates patient care and service activities to the AIN, however, the AIN retains responsibility for their personal actions and fulfilling their role within their approved scope of practice.
Requirements:
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance, Blue Card Checks, Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
