Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility is a Queensland Health managed aged care service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service and is located in Charters Towers. The facility provides residential care for older persons who require specialised nursing care due to fragility and complex care needs.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $132.562 to $143,924 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus great Salary Sacrificing options
  • Flexible working arrangements may be available

About your opportunity
This position provides expertise in managing quality and accreditation systems, including Aged Care Accreditation Standards, legislative requirements, and the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC). Additionally, the incumbent will oversee nursing resources, education, and research initiatives, ensuring strategic management supports the delivery of high-quality, best-practice care for clients at Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility in Charters Towers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a required qualification for this position.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
  • This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement is required
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
