  • Salary range: $41.73 - $53.53 p.h. (Nurse Grade 5)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
The Townsville University Operating Theatre has 14 operating theatres. Our instrument and circulatory nurses working within our emergency theatres work a continuous shift work roster and across all elective, emergency and trauma operating theatres to maintain competency in all specialties.

 The successful candidate must be an experienced instrument and circulatory nurse who currently works in an operating theatre and can demonstrate current experience with emergency and trauma procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position and registration with AHPRA.
  • Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which may include participation in an on-call roster.
