Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $129,583 to $150,240 p.a. (L4-L9)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
This position will allow you to provide high quality clinical care to clinical trials patients of the Townsville Cancer Centre – Haematology Service within The Townsville Hospital & Health Service, supervision of junior medical staff and will include some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff, medical students, nursing and allied health staff.
Requirements:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of medical qualification and 3 to 4 years of medical officer work experience (Intern, RMO, Registrar). Registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to commencement of clinical duties.
- Accepted into recognised vocational college training program relevant to the speciality.
- If appointee is not accepted into a recognized vocational college training program – employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at PHO Level per fortnight (L4-L7).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
