About the work unit / facility:

Charters Towers Health Service is a 25-bed facility providing integrated acute and primary health care services through a range of programs including: community, child, youth and family, mental health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and outreach services.

Competitive salary and benefits:

  • Salary between $35.92 to $38.12 p.h (NG3).
  • 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.

About your opportunity:

The Enrolled Nurse provides care to healthcare recipients under the supervision of a registered nurse or midwife, following delegated tasks and seeking guidance and support in decision-making as needed.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory qualification (Diploma of Nursing or equivalent) and registration with AHPRA.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role.
  • Possession of class C drivers' licence.
  • Travel is a requirement of this role.
  • A probationary period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
