About the role
This operational role (Food Services) is to assist in providing an effective and efficient service, which deliverers a high standard of food preparation and presentation consistent with Food Safe principles, servicing and distribution of meals associated with client dietary needs.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrate appropriate experience which relate to the Food service
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and use initiative, work with a minimum of supervision, communicate and work cooperatively with other members of a multidisciplinary team.
- An understanding and appreciation of the need for client/patient and facility confidentiality , privacy and abide by the Code of Conduct at all times
- Understanding of or an ability to acquire knowledge of hygiene standards, infection control practices, food safety standards, workplace health and safety, total quality management, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviour as applied in the working environment.
Mandatory Requirements:
- vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
